Beautiful people
We’re looking at beautiful people and civilized behaviour this week. Blame it if you will on John Pringle’s whirlwind visit, the birthday bash at King’s House, or Air Jamaica’s superb Hall of Fame function at King’s House if a scapegoat has to be found. But what a great week!
Pity that there are some who still just don’t get it. Case in point, the female guest King’s House Monday night at the launch of the Governor General’s book.
Her loud mobile conversations (yes she had several) during both major speeches.
And then the waitress at a diplomatic function who pushed the tray in the middle of two guests who were having a conversation.
But on the other hand, you have that wonderful guard from Sentry, recently assigned to BNS New Kingston’s car park, the staff at the Dumfries Road location of Paymaster, the new set of Cable and Wireless customer service staff who answer the 114 numbers and the 113 international operators. A veritable breath of fresh air.
And then you have the clueless in Seattle set destined to lead us all to double doses of prozac. When will we ever put the right persons in the jobs?
Thankfully, Paul Pennicooke starts today. David Shields is also available so perhaps we can return Janet Madden to Jamaica.
Two very beautiful people, one already a billionaire, the other not far behind were seen lunching Chinese style at Northside Plaza. Watch this spot for the outcome.
In the interim, we continue to focus on some more beautiful people. Lisa and Charlie Johnston seen by some as the region’s answer to Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. Horace and Domique Peterkin, the first young couple of tourism, and naturally Lisa and John Pringle, and Mr and Mrs Byron Lee.
A Bientot!
PS. And yes the gorgeous one was in the city last
week,as was the effervescent Bridget Zaidie.
PPS. Now we know why Carlene the dancehall queen and Miss Hanna were together at the football match. They are soon to start a television series on CVM.
