Of Mission Accomplished,
Mission Accomplished! And in one fell swoop Yendi Phillipps single-handedly brought us back from the brink… Okay then, almost.
Lessons Learned…
Thankfully, many have moved beyond the Uzuri gown and ‘God’ so let’s start the hunt, and immediately too, for several other young ladies who have, like Yendi, danced, modelled, entered major competitions (and so understand the glare and the pressure), have done the Digicel Rising Stars etc, etc and so go with a fixity of purpose.
Sound and Proper Management!
So who is there to ensure that our musicians are protected from the tax man? It’s not a good thing for those who have brought the eyes of the world (good, bad and indifferent) to our shores to be treated like this. Pay up they must as, too, those who are now pointing fingers and have themselves robbed the coffers of billions.
Dear Friends…
You never heard it here, but impeccable sources have confirmed that he might no longer be part of the Tea Party islandwide tour. The dinner party fundraisers, however, are convinced that he has what it takes to lead the nation. Naturally, those debts would have to be placed atop the agenda.
On the Subject of Debts…
Patrons are still in shock at what they witnessed yesterday morning! That’s right, Sunday. Men everywhere moving equipment out! Indeed, the shelves were looking rather scanty but who would have thunk it???
Payless Coming…
Yes, the plan is indeed to pay less come FNO, Friday, September 10, but the fab one with the equally fab daughter is all set to open Payless on The Rock.
À Bientôt!
PS The Price of Owing Millions in Rent
Naturally, there were raised eyebrows when they left, but this is what happens when your rent is not paid and the thousands roll over into millions. It’s a painful lesson and one that could have been avoided, to boot. The bitter reality has now hit home, hence the shouts of foul play.
PPS Sorting Slowly
Great news! Haters, step aside! They are sorting it out slowly… Give them space, positive vibes and applaud from the wings.
Miss Jamaica Universe Yendi Phillipps was all giggles as athlete beau Asafa Powell showered her with praise after the Miss Universe pageant in which she placed second, the highest finish achieved by a Jamaican beauty.
