Would you trust your man to take the male pill?

The male birth control pill could soon be an option, giving men another choice of when to procreate. But would you trust your man with this responsibility?

No, I don’t trust any man to do that. I would prefer to take it myself. Times too hard nowadays for me to chance something like that, and leave it up to him to take the pill.

Men are not the only ones who can be vindictive. Suppose he decides that he wants to tie me down in a relationship and ensure that I don’t leave him and not take the pill out of spite?

I would trust him. When you are in a relationship, communication is essential. If my partner and I are on the same page,  then he would understand what is at stake if he doesn’t take the pill.

Men nowadays are so cheap and they don’t want to spend money to mind children. For that reason I know my man would remember to take the pill. He might not remember to pay the bills, but he will remember to take the pill.

When a man hears that a woman is pregnant, he will run in the other direction if he didn’t plan for it. When it comes to the baby thing, men don’t play. So no matter what hour of the day he has to take the pill, regardless of the side effects, he will take the pill to ensure that that doesn’t reach him.

If you can convince him that the pill will not mess with his sex drive then he would take the pill. But otherwise, I think it would be a tough sell.

If he can trust me to take the pill every day, why can’t I trust him to do the same? I would give him the benefit of the doubt.
