Many women go into relationships not knowing what role they play, not because they haven’t been given the relationship manual, but because they just haven’t spent time reading. As such their position on their men’s teams somehow get lost in translation.
And it is after the game has ended that they cry foul and ask for a replay so they can spot the obvious red card moments. But why go through this when all the signs that you’re being played are often right in front of you? How do you know that a guy just wants you for a romp in the hay?
1. He only notices your appearance
While it’s great when someone appreciates your appearance and how terrific you look, you want to be loved and adored for your inner qualities, too, and not just your butt and lips.
2. Conversations always turn sexual
When he calls or IMs you, regardless of the initial topic, he finds a way to bring sex into the conversation.
3. Texts and e-mails are flirty and sexual
You can tell so much about a man’s interest in you by the things he says. You send him a message saying you’re home and ask him to stop at the store for bread, and he responds with a cheeky message about kneading your dough when he gets there.
4. He doesn’t take you out
He doesn’t want to invest time or money in developing a relationship with you.
5. It’s straight to the bedroom
He doesn’t want to spend time chit-chatting about your day, he’s always just quick to grab your hand and march you over to the bedroom.
6. Foreplay is over quickly
This man doesn’t need much kissing or touching. His body is ready for the sex act quickly and he’s not thinking about your satisfaction, only about his fulfilment.
7. He never wants to spend the night
He has 100 excuses for why you can’t stay over at his place and why he can’t spend the entire night at yours. As soon as there’s the slam, it’s ‘thank you ma’am and bye’.
8. You’re a booty call
A man who’s using you for sex thinks nothing of calling you at 1:00 AM or sending you a text saying he wants to come over.
