Big bumper or flat tyres?
WE all remember the friendly feud between the fluffy and slim women a few years ago, but in recent times, at least on the international scene, there has been a craze by both camps for a larger derrière, à la Kim Kardashian.
We have also seen the infomercials where women desirous of larger rumps can access services that will make their dreams reality, such as vacuum therapy or butt cupping, autologous fat transfer, or even butt implants.
Are we keeping up with that trend locally? Are men demanding more junk in the trunk? And will faking it in the form of butt pads be a help or hindrance to his affection?
Below men share their views.
Sean:
How can I really tell if it’s fake or not? You don’t necessarily know just by looking as I’ve judged and judged wrongly before. But if I find out a woman’s butt is fake I will definitely feel deceived. I think you must just accept yourself for who you are.
Rohan:
African men love women with big bottoms and I think for black cultures it makes a difference. For me if a woman’s bottom is naturally big it is a plus. If I found out she did a fat transplant, which is her own body fat being redistributed, then what’s the problem? However, if it is done with silicone not only is that fake, it is very harmful. If it is redistributed, while it isn’t her natural feature, it is her fat and I’d feel more comfortable in that regard than with someone who placed plastic within themselves.
Christopher:
As long as I have something to grab on to it matters not. But I would care if it mysteriously got bigger one day.
Carl:
Men are visual creatures, so if a woman is sexy of course you’re going to find her more sexually appealing. The oddities where men fall in love with personalities are far and in between. Men see you first then get to know you. Now regarding a naturally endowed woman versus a purchased one, it’s difficult to say as reasons vary why a woman would opt to do that procedure. Maybe she had low self-esteem, maybe the fat elsewhere was an issue so moving it to her butt would mean she reduced her risk of certain illnesses. But if her reason is simply vanity, then no.
Dane:
I love women regardless of whether they have a big bumper or flat tyre. Tifa says is big bumper time now; I say it doesn’t matter. There’s much more to a woman. Also, I love everything natural, so if she did work on her bottom it’s a deal breaker.
Parker:
A big bottom may catch your eye, but it’s not necessarily more appealing and it wouldn’t matter to me because she must have other qualities. I can’t judge her on one issue alone.
Lentworth:
I’m not really a discriminator with regard to certain body parts. However, if I find out that you are not real and you are deceptive then I’m going to feel betrayed.
Joseph:
It’s neither here nor there for me. If it’s implants I’d first try to see why she did it and look for the better qualities in her rather than judge her off the bat.
