When love dies
Relationships can be a rollercoaster of emotions and can be physically and mentally draining at times. There are times when you want to run away from the issues plaguing the relationship but can’t, not because you don’t want to, but you think about the impact it might have on your other half.
What do you do when you know you love each other but it’s just not working out, when the relationship is dying but you both can’t seem to let go?
Kirk:
Talk about it. Talking through issues can sometimes work.
Sandy:
I think that if something like a relationship is dying and cannot be saved, it is best to just walk away on good terms.
Darren:
Sometimes love just isn’t enough to save a relationship. You can love someone and they might just not be the one for you – you are good around each other but not good together.
Ayesha:
My ex and I spent over a year in a dying relationship not knowing what to do. We honestly loved each other but it just wasn’t working out. After a year of not being 100 per cent happy, we went our separate ways and now we are best friends.
Phillip:
If it’s dying, let it die. If it’s meant to be, it will come around again.
