Should a woman propose to a man?
From ever since most of us can remember, it has been the man who bought the engagement ring and got on his knees to ask for the woman’s hand in marriage. However, times have changed, and many women are getting on their knees to propose when it seems like their men are slow in doing so.
Is this wrong?
I say no, not unless it is forcing the man to do something against his will.
If you force him to marry you ‘or else’, your plan could result in failure. You cannot force someone to love you, or see the value in you that would make them willing to make you their lifetime partner.
However, if you believe deep within your heart that this man is the one, you have a right to express your love.
But also note that because we live in a world that is changing, it may take a while for some to adapt to these flipped gender roles. Your man may be one of those who is less pliable, so make sure that you are dealing with someone who has an open mind, before you get on bended knees.
