Would you cover your best friend’s infidelities?
A best friend is someone who sticks by you in the good and bad times. A best friend is supposed to be like a shadow. But should this mean that they are covered even if they go totally against your personal standards? Would you cover for your best friend if they’re being unfaithful?
Monica:
I would cover my best friend, yes. I might not like what she’s doing but still a friendship is like marriage – once you’re in it, you’d better stick through the good and the bad phases.
Tisha:
I have actually lived through this. My best friend was cheating on her man and basically I had to lie to cover her when he called to ask if she was by my place. I even told him she was sleeping and that he had woken me up. I’ve got my friend’s back even though I didn’t support her cheating on her man. She is her own person but when it comes down to the wire, I am in it until death do us part.
MJ:
I am not covering any best friend when it comes to cheating. I know of a case where a woman covered her friend and the man killed both his woman and her friend. Relationships are serious business and I value my life too much, plus I have a husband and a family to live for.
Shan:
I would, because I know she would do the same for me. I don’t support cheating still, but once she explains why she’s doing what she’s doing, I am all in.
Cheryl:
I don’t participate in my best friend’s relationships. We are adults, not teens so no, I’d rather stay totally out of anything resembling that.
