Lime water for belly fat
Dear Donovan,
I want to lose my belly fat. I was reading a previous article about lime or lemon juice being used for losing belling fat, and I want to know if there are any side effects from taking these. My belly protrudes, and it looks as if I am pregnant again but that’s not the case. I’m a mother of a five-month-old baby, so I want to know when I can start to drink lime juice and whether it will affect my breastfeeding.
The fact that you are still concerned about your belly fat five months after delivery might suggest that you gained too much weight during pregnancy. When this happens, it is sometimes harder to get back into shape after childbirth. It is very wise, if possible, to lose some weight before getting pregnant, or to get a nutritionist to monitor your weight gain during pregnancy.
The general principle is that once you lose weight you will lose weight all over your body, including your belly. Breastfeeding is also important in helping you to lose weight. In addition, cutting back on your calorie intake will assist in your weight loss. However, it is also important for you to have healthy, balanced meals at the same time.
Your diet should include more fruits, vegetables, vegetable juices, lean protein and whole grains. In addition, it would be beneficial if you could get in even 15 to 20 minutes of structured exercise two to three days per week as a start. Along with breastfeeding, diet and exercise will help to reduce calories, forcing the body to use up some of its reserve fat.
I had mentioned in one of my previous articles the benefits of drinking lime/lemon water for general health, as well as for losing weight and belly fat. Drinking lime water can be very beneficial in boosting the immune system, detoxing the body, reducing appetite, helping to improve bowel movements, as well as getting mucus and grime out of the body.
In my personal opinion, I don’t see any reason why you cannot drink lime/lemon water at least once per day. I have not seen any information that this will affect your child. However, you can still get a second opinion from your doctor. My only concern with you drinking lime water would be if you have a citrus allergy or a stomach sore.
Good luck!
