The marriage blues
What do men fear most about marriage? They tell below.
Roger:
Well, how I see it today, it’s like women are men now – they call the shots, they tell the lies, they’re the ones cheating, so I feel like it is best I stay single and relax. Marriage is a scary place with these nowadays women.
Joseph:
I think a man will be fearful of marriage until he meets the right match. I can tell you that almost every woman I used to be with wanted me to propose to them and I would change the topic or lie my way out of that because they were nowhere near what I desired in a wife. When I met my wife she didn’t have time to wonder if I wanted to settle with her, as after a year I asked her and next week will be our seventh wedding anniversary.
Danny:
Personally, once a woman brings it up, she is not the one. A woman must give her man space and time to make that decision. Don’t bully a man into taking you to the altar. Because it will appear like it’s the ring and the wedding you want and not the man.
Jermaine:
Well, I watch how my parents’ marriage went down and I prefer not to experience that twice because when they were divorcing, it was like me and my other siblings were divorcing too. It was really sad and horrifying to watch the arguments and all that. I prefer my single life and no stress.
Damion:
We fear marrying the wrong woman. It is not getting married that is the problem , it’s when you find out that you married Lucifer in Christ’s clothes.
