The types of men that women avoid like the plague
NO perfect man exists, and most women in the dating game are well aware of this. However, exhibiting certain traits could significantly affect a man’s chances of landing a date, or even worse, cause women to write him off altogether.
Below, All Woman readers share the types of men they avoid like the plague.
Latoya, 28, teacher:
Broke men tend to be leeches and so as a hard-working girl, chances are he is going to expect me to take care of him and the kids, should the relationship progress to that stage. I see it happening too often. Another set that I avoid are dunce men — I cannot be bothered.
Georgette, 43, police officer:
I stay far from men who wear their pants on or under their butts. It is very tacky and unattractive and I cannot see how a man can be comfortable with his undergarments on display.
Samantha, 30, insurance agent:
Men with bad teeth are a big turn-off and, of course, I avoid the ones with bad breath. Can you imagine me fainting everytime my man opens his mouth? My stomach is not so strong.
Marlene, 49, seamstress:
I avoid liars. I can find them out from the dating stage and know how to weed them out. Liars are manipulative; they will play with your emotions and make you look stupid.
Annette, 36, dental hygienist:
I don’t even want a mean man to make the mistake and call to me. These men will drain you. They won’t support you in any way and are more likely to take from you. These men are often selfish.
Ailey, 50, vendor:
Disrespectful men somehow believe that they own you and can speak to you any way they please. They will also do anything they like including cheating and expect you to accept it.
Charm, 39, customer service rep:
I can’t stand ‘licky licky’ men. I don’t see what can turn me off more than a man who loves likes, and will do anything for nice things but doesn’t want to work hard for it.
Kerry, 28, make-up artist:
From a man is bleaching I just don’t want him because he lacks self-respect. He does not love himself and so how would he be able to love me? People who bleach themselves are wicked. To know the side effects and still do it is just illogical.
Michelle, 24, store manager:
I am turned off by smokers because I love to kiss and they always have a taste of smoke in their mouth, whether it’s marijuana or cigarettes.
Althea, 30, bartender:
I can’t stand a man who feels he has a right to touch a woman when she didn’t give him her permission. I especially hate when they touch my breast or butt.
Sashana, 29, botanist:
I don’t know why some men love bars so much. I can’t see how a man with a woman at home can spend hours at the bar, up in the bartender’s face or around the gambling box. I find it annoying and it’s a big waste of money. Why not buy the beer or whatever it is you drink and enjoy it at home with your partner?
