The deadline for speakers for BizTech 2022 is September 19, and the call is open for speaker proposals to the Caribbean’s largest and most-anticipated tech event of the year.

The Jamaica Technology and Digital Alliance event promises to be an era-defining, thought-provoking, and future-focused hybrid experience that will uncover global trends and insights shaping our digital future.

The focus areas for this year’s conference are metaverse, Web3, NFTs & createch, e-commerce 360 & fintech, data protection & cybersecurity, leadership, literacy, and talent. BizTech 2022 will also highlight unique segments such as tech health activations, pitch and fund, opportunities, conversations focused on diversity and inclusion in the technology space, and a wellness segment.

Speaker proposals will fit into one of the various focus areas.

A broad look shows the following formats:

* Plenary Talk, Main Stage — The entire audience discusses a broad range of topics on innovative technology within the focus areas.

* Breakout Session — Smaller group sessions focused on specific topics, discussions, or workshops that attendees self-select.

* Lightning Talk — A very short talk on the main stage showcasing innovative or successful use of technology or thought-provoking insight.
