Market Sales and Events

An executive of Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited sold 58,454 shares at $50.50 for a consideration of $2.95 million on October 7 while another executive of Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited sold 1,046 shares at $50.50 on October 10. A connected party of PanJam Investments Limited purchased 3,661 shares on October 12.

Cecil and Marion Foster each sold 7,638,401 shares of FosRich Company Limited, at $3.75 per share for a consideration of $57.29 million on October 4, to directors Ian Kelly, Peter Knibb, Rosalyn Campbell; managers Warren Riley, Michelle Thame and Stephen Spencer, along with 60 other team members.

FirstRock Real Estate Investments Limited purchased 300,000 US-dollar shares between September 28 and 29 between US$0.0593 and US$0.0690, and purchased 100,000 Jamaican-dollar shares on September 29 between $12.70 and $13.75. Eppley Caribbean Property Fund – Value Fund purchased 5,709 shares between October 3 to 7 under its share buy-back programme.

Caribbean Information & Credit Rating Services Limited (CariCRIS) has reaffirmed the ‘good’ or CariA creditworthiness of Supreme Ventures Limited, Guardian Holdings Limited, National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited, NCB Merchant Bank (T&T) Limited, and NCB (Cayman) Limited. CariCRIS has also reaffirmed NCB Capital Markets (Barbados) Limited’s rating of CariBB and reaffirmed the ‘high’ or CariAA credit rating of NCB Financial Group Limited.

CariCRIS has upgraded JMMB Group Limited’s Jamaica national scale local currency rating from jmA+ to jmAA– (high), and its Jamaica national scale foreign currency rating from jmA to jmA+. JMMB Group continues to hold a CariA– or good score on the regional foreign currency rating scale, and CariBBB+ (adequate) on the regional local currency rating scale.

Dwaine Williams will be leaving his role as marketing deployment manager at Carreras Limited effective October 31 and transition to a new role in the British American Tobacco (BAT) Group.

Kingston Properties Limited has declared a dividend of US$0.001 to be paid on November 15 to shareholders on record as of October 28. This payment totals US$884,609.29.

Ciboney Group Limited’s annual general meeting (AGM) has been moved from October 14 to November 9 while Stationery and Office Supplies Limited has moved its AGM from November 1 to November 8. Elite Diagnostic will hold its AGM on December 15.

AGMs for Blue Power Group Limited and Lumber Depot Limited will be held on November 8.

Supreme Ventures Limited will consider an interim dividend at its board meeting being held tomorrow at 11 am. FosRich Company Limited will consider an interim dividend at its board meeting on October 25.

FirstRock Real Estate Investments Limited and Fontana Limited will consider the payment of an interim dividend at its board meeting on October 28 and November 10, respectively.
