14-y-o charged after alleged housebreaking
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 14-year-old boy of Gordon Pen, St Catherine, is facing house-breaking and larceny charges after he reportedly broke into a woman’s Greater Portmore home using the roof.
Police report that on November 24 at 8:00 am a woman securely locked her home and left for work, and on her return, she discovered her home had been broken into.
Upon checking the cameras installed at her home, she noticed the teen boy and his accomplices climbing onto the roof of the house, entering the home and stole multiple items before fleeing by way of entry.
A report was made to the police and the teen was later arrested after he was handed over by a relative on Tuesday.
