KINGSTON, Jamaica — Seventeen-year-old table tennis player Brian Blake delivered a masterclass performance at the 2026 Jamaica Table Tennis Association (JTTA) National Senior and Junior Championships, capturing three national titles.

Blake, a part-time student at The University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona Campus, won the Under-19 Boys’ Singles title on the final day of the four-day tournament held from August 19 to August 23, at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston.

Blake also made it to the quarter-finals in the Men’s Singles, competing head-to-head against some of the nation’s top adult talents.

In addition to his singles success, Brian completed a total sweep of the doubles play. He partnered with Jayden Ebanks to claim the Under-19 Boys’ Doubles title, before teaming up with Roberto “Dino” Byles to capture the Men’s Doubles title.

With Sunday’s Under-19 victory, Blake has officially won every national title available at his level.

“This win means a lot to me, but the job isn’t finished,” said Blake. “Earlier this year I set a goal to take home both the junior and senior titles. That’s one down, one more to go, and I’m locked in on bringing home the Men’s Senior Singles title next.”
