Fighting for the fruits

Gospel artistes Minister Taneisha Shaw and Rian Davis are hoping to offer encouragement to their listeners with the track Fruits After the Fight.

Produced by Tall King Productions, the track was released on June 23.

“The song is about life challenges and how it creates a path for the blessings. I believe that challenges cultivate champions. I also believe that we should not be daunted by our struggles but, instead, hold steadfast and believe that God will carry us through,” Minister Shaw told the Jamaica Observer.

Rian Davis added: “I just want to let somebody know that after the fight comes the fruits. So, for those who are fighting the good fight, use this as your motivation…soon you will be counting your fruits.”

Their first time working together, Minister Shaw says she heard Davis singing at church and she knew that they would work together.

“It was a seamless connection. My hope for this song is that it will reach everyone, and that people will understand and be encouraged that God can do anything. No matter the depth of the situation, God is more than able,” expressed Minister Shaw.

Adding to her catalogue, with the past release alongside dancehall artiste Pamputtae called God and Time, the artiste is continuing to balance her ministry with her music, spreading the Gospel to the world.

“My ministry has been a blessing ever since, and the music has been so influential because it has garnered an audience that would be a little difficult to reach in some sense. But music has created a platform for me to reach out to various people just based on how I express myself. I have a whole lot more on the horizon, so look out for more uplifting content like this,” she added.

Davis is also working on his career in music, hoping to become a force to be reckoned with, and promises more exciting music to come.

“Music has always been a passion of mine, and I am hoping to change lives in a positive way and bring listeners closer to God through mu music. Trust me, I have lots more in store,” he said.

The workout-themed music video for the track, directed by Kyng Kreative, continues to rack up views on social media.
