After an extended drought, singer Khristopher scores his fifth entry on the New York Reggae chart as Love Yu Self (Singry Records) bolts from #20 to #18 in its third week on the tally.

In a previous interview with the Jamaica Observer, Khristopher explained that the idea for the song came as a result of females who are unappreciative.

“The song is very relatable to me because I’ve found myself in situation like this one in the past, where no matter what or how much you do for someone it would seem like it’s not enough,” said Khristopher.

He added: “Singing is all about feelings and emotions to me. If fans can hear and feel my emotions through my music then that’s a win for me. So, it’s very important to show that side of me to my listening audience.”

Khristopher first hit the New York Reggae chart in early 2000 with a cover of the Backstreet Boys hit All I Have, which peaked at #11. Later that year, Can’t Live Without Your Love fared better at #6.

His cover of Debarge’s Who’s Holding Donna Now rose to #2 in 2002, and the following year Ghetto Fabulous topped out at #6.

Still on the New York Reggae chart, Lord I Thank You by Nitty Kutchie and Buju Banton spend a fourth week at #1.

Meanwhile, Call Him by Kevin Downswell and Bounty Killer rises from #11 to #8, and My Sweet Lord by Damian Marley bolts from #15 to #10.

New at #26 is Beat Down Babylon by Inner Circle/Freddie McGregor and Mykal Roze, while It Must Be Magic by Tony Anthony steps in at #27.

Look a Girl by Stephen and Chino McGregor makes its way in at #29.

Over to the South Florida Reggae chart, I’ll be Waiting by Freddie McGregor spends a second week on top.

Stick Together by Christopher Ellis steps up from #6 to #3, while The Man of Mine by Marcia J Ball (#23), Love Has Found its Way by King Banton (#24) and You Alone by Kashief Lindo (#25) are this week’s new entries.

Moving now to the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Byron Messia’s No Love makes its exit from the chart.

Bob Marley and the Wailers continue their dominance at #1 with Legend clocking 189 non-consecutive weeks.

Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection is firm at #2, while Dutty Classics Collection by Sean Paul inches up to #3.

Wisdom by Stick Figure steps from #7 to #4, while Greatest Hits by UB40 remains at #5.

Sean Paul’s Grammy winning Dutty Rock is up from #9 to #6, while Stick Figure has Set in Stone and World on Fire at #7 and #8, respectively.

Endless Summer by The Elovaters, which peaked at #3, moves up to #9 in its 4th week.

Count Me In by Rebebltion re-enters at #10.

Over on US Afrobeats Songs chart, Talibans II by Burna Boy and Byron Messia improves from #4 to #3. The song inches up from #27 to #26 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.

On Rap Airplay, Talibans improves from #17 to #15, while on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, the song backtracks from #20 to #21.

Talibans loses steam on Rhythmic Top 40 airplay, sliding down from #20 to #23.

Dante Bowe and Anthony B’s collaborative effort Wind Me Up is steady at #16.

On the Latin charts, Sean Paul and Feid’s Nina Bonita falls from #3 to #9 on Latin Airplay. On Latin Rhythmic Airplay, the song falls from #1 to #5.
