Set alongside the shimmering blue Olympic-sized outdoor pool at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, the relaunched “Tuesday On The Grill Experience” offers a lively, yet elegant escape in the heart of New Kingston. For approximately J$9,000 per person, guests enjoy unlimited dining, complete with a live band in a beautiful outdoor atmosphere. Please note that drinks are available for purchase separately at the bar.

From the moment we arrived, the poolside setting felt accomodating. I mean, we’re in the Caribbean. Who would not want to dine al fresco! Soft lighting reflected off the water while live music created the perfect backdrop — pulsating enough to enhance the mood without overpowering the conversation.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. The unlimited buffet featured an impressive array of local and international flavours, all thoughtfully prepared and elegantly presented. We enjoyed flavourful jerk pork, fresh salads, succulent crayfish, grilled pork chops, roasted fillet of salmon, creamy macaroni and cheese, and a tempting assortment of desserts to name a few. With so many options available, each visit to the buffet offered something new to tantalise the tastebuds.

The combination of excellent food, live entertainment, and picturesque setting made the experience especially memorable. It was easy to lose track of time while enjoying another plate, listening to the performers, and soaking in the relaxed atmosphere. For those more adventurous souls the dance floor beckons for even more fun! The night also features curated artisans showcasing the best of Jamaica so you can also get in a little retail therapy.

For anyone seeking a memorable night out in Kingston, the Jamaica Pegasus’ newly elevated “Tuesday on the Grill Experience” at the poolside delivers a winning blend of great food, quality entertainment, outstanding service, and a stunning setting.

As Selena, Adolph, and I discovered sometimes the perfect evening is simply great company, delicious food, and live music under the stars.
