Best Dressed Chicken x Mezza Luna at the Food Awards

Among the many booths competing for attention at this year’s Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards, The Best Dressed Chicken pavilion, designed by Shikima Hinds for Shikima Hinds Events Concierge, delivered one of the bolder statements of the evening:

A collaboration with Mezza Luna, whose owner Karina Mahbubani took home the Restaurateur of the Year award, bringing togther two of the island’s most respected names to a single setting. The signature dishes of the evening made the partnership speak for itself: Chicken kibbeh, crisp outside and tender within; shawarma tacos that drew the crowd back for seconds; Beirut fish; fattoush; a chickpea salad; chicken pasta; and a hummus trio that held its own against everything on the menu. Don Julio cocktails kept the evening moving.
