While the Reggae Month Trophy is the feature race on the card, the Restricted Allowance II event for native-bred three-year olds (non-winners of two and imported three-year-olds and upwards (maidens) is one to pay attention to as the talented Bootylicious returns to face another talented runner in debutant Inspire Force. The seven-horse field will travel 6 furlongs(1,200m).

Below is the analysis of the $1.02-million purse event.

1. BURLAP: (3 b c by Casual Trick – Fedora) – Was expected to be competitive in the Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes last December over one mile but finished down the track in a disappointing effort. Burlap is well-trained and freshened for his seasonal debut and should run a much better race.

2. BULLETPROOFCOFFEE (USA): (3 bf by He Be Fire N Ice – Plan A Surprise) — Finished sixth in her debut over five furlongs straight (1,000 metres) on February 4. Bulletproofcoffee should have gained from that outing and run an improved race, but a winning run is not at hand. Note, Bulletproofcoffee races with the blinkers on.

3. DUROCELL: (3 ch f by Soul Warrior – Savanna’s Smile) – Ran well to finished fourth in the 6-furlong Dye Job Sprint on December 17. Durocell is not expected to trouble the main principals.

4. BOOTYLICIOUS: (3 b f by Key To Power – Keep The Faith) – Made an encouraging debut on November 5 of last year over 5 ½ furlongs (1,100m), winning by 15 lengths in a time of 1:06.2. Bootylicious, who is highly thought of at home, has been working well in the mornings, and, with a repeat of her debut run, is going to complete the double.

5. PLATINUM FORCE: (3 b c by Guilt Trip – Catherine’s Dream) – Finished in third place in his two runs so far. Platinum Force, based on his two efforts, seems to want a distance of ground, making 6 furlongs a bit short for him. Note, Platinum Force races with the visor on and first-time Lasix

6. SISTER D (USA): 3 dk b/br f by Brethren – Inidia) – Has yet to show anything from her two starts on local soil. Sister D is going to be left behind.

7. INSPIRE FORCE: (3 ch c by Union Jackson – Exotic Design) – A highly rated colt who makes his debut. Inspire Force is working well for his entry into competitive racing, and, based on his stable confidence, could get off the mark right away.
