22-y-o Westmoreland man charged with 2021 murder
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – A 22-year-old man has been charged with the December 2021 shooting murder of 27-year-old Joshane Johnson, a mason of Friendship district, in Westmoreland.
Charged is Tevin Robinson, otherwise called ‘Shawn Storm’ a labourer of Content district in the parish.
Reports from the Frome Police are that about 8:40 pm, on Wednesday, December 1, residents of the Red Hills district heard explosions and summoned them. Upon their arrival, Johnson was seen in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Following investigative leads, both accused were implicated. Vivian Henry, one of the suspects, was charged on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Robinson was subsequently arrested on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 during a police operation in the Friendship community and charged on Friday, November 25.
