Singer Kranium is no longer a part of the Atlantic Records roster of artistes. It is understood that there was a mutual parting of ways between both parties last month.

“Yes, that is correct,” said Patrick ‘Pee Wee’ Bonsu, Kranium’s manager, when asked to confirm if the artiste was no longer with Atlantic Records.

Bonsu said the separation was mutual.

In a subsequent post on his official Instagram page, Kranium wrote “I was the only dancehall artiste signed to a major when I did the deal and it wasn’t easy being a dancehall artiste based in New York City!!! Although I had a lot of great moments I had terrible experience in the mix and that’s what comes with taking chances!!! With that being said, I wanna thank@breeroyal_ for fighting for me in that building!!”

While with Atlantic Records, Kranium released three full length studio albums and an EP. His last project, In Too Deep was released last year.

His hits include the gold certified ‘Can’t Believe’ (with Ty Dolla $ign and Wizkid), ‘We Can’ (with Tory Lanez) and the RIAA gold certified ‘Nobody Has to Know’, his breakthrough hit.
