Krueshef salutes the ladies with ‘RE-Vibes’
The ladies get Krueshef’s respect on RE-Vibes, his latest song which hits the market Friday. It is co-produced by Raymond Johnson and Angelo Smith for Kohanim Records, a Florida-based company.
In an interview with Observer Online, Krueshef said the lyrics flowed from his heart.
“The focus of RE-Vibes is to bring awareness to the woman dem and treat dem with respect and love and good vibes.”
Johnson, a Jamaican, and Smith who is from The Bahamas, completed production on the uptempo track early last year. Although it took one year to be released, Krueshef, who is from St Croix in the United States Virgin Islands, was not frustrated.
“I believe in making quality music and so it takes a little longer to release the tracks but the fans will love all of Krueshef’s hits and realise the wait is worth it. They are diamonds in the rough,” he said.
While putting the finishing touches on RE-Vibes, the deejay established KMGM Records, which he hopes to produce songs by himself and other artistes, starting in 2024.
Born Clarence Joseph, Krueshef is a former boxer who fought as a super-middleweight for the US Olympic team to Athens, Greece in 2004. He has four wins to his name as a pro.
He was previously known as Splittt Personality, and recorded an album titled Introspective. As Krueshef, he released the EP We Rise Up, in 2020.
