MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The Little Ochie Seafood Restaurant in Alligator Pond, Manchester was on Saturday reopened by the Manchester Health Department.
The restaurant had been closed since Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
It was reportedly ordered closed by the health department for breaches of the Public Health Act and its regulations.
Evrol ‘Blackie’ Christian, the owner of the establishment had told OBSERVER ONLINE earlier this month that he was awaiting the return of a public health inspection team after changes were made to a garbage receptacle which, he said, led to the closure of the popular eatery.
According to the health department, the restaurant has since been reassessed and met the requirements for reopening.
