Man wanted for murder in Westmoreland killed by police

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – A man who was reportedly wanted for murder in Westmoreland was shot and killed by the police at on Dalling Street in Savanna-La-Mar on Thursday morning.

The deceased has not yet been identified.

The Police’s Corporate Communications Unit confirmed the incident to OBSERVER ONLINE a short while ago.

The CCU said a weapon was also recovered from the deceased.
