#NationalTrials: Broadbell, Mason, Parchment to clash in 110mh
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The battle is on for top honours in the men’s 110m hurdles at the National Senior and Junior Championships.
Reigning Commonwealth champion, Rasheed Broadbell of Elite Performance clocked 13.06 seconds to win semi-final one. He finished ahead of Orlando Bennett of Racers Track Club (13.24).
Tyler Mason looked equally impressive after clocking 13.12 to win semi-final two. Giano Robert’s (13.33) and Dejour Russell of Pelicans Track Club, who ran a personal best of 13.39, finished second and third, respectively.
Tokyo Olympic champion Hansle Parchment ran 13.29 to win semi-final three. Damion Thomas of Puma (13.40) and Jaheem Hayles of Syracuse University (13.51) secured the second and third place finishes.
The men’s 110m hurdles final is scheduled for 6:34 pm on Sunday.
