#NationalTrials: Clarke clocks PB to lead field into 400mh final

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Roshawn Clarke of Swept Track Club clocked a personal best of 48.91 seconds to book his spot in the final of the men’s 400m hurdles at the National Senior and Junior Championships (Trials) on Thursday.

He finished ahead of his teammate Jaheel Hyde, who ran 49.40 for second. Robin Black clocked 50.24 for third.

Titan Track Club’s Assinie Wilson won heat two in 49.70 seconds. He was followed by Shawn Rowe (50.38) and Roxroy Cato (50.65).

The final of the men’s 400m hurdles will take place on Friday at 7:51 pm.
