PHOTOS: Firefighters stage protest outside Labour Ministry
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Firefighters are demonstrating outside the Ministry of Labour and Social Security at National Heroes Circle in Kingston.
The placard-bearing firefighters are protesting against alleged poor staff welfare at the Jamaica Fire Brigade.
It’s the latest in a wave of protests among civil servants since last week, following demonstrations by members of the National Water Commission, air traffic controllers and National Housing Trust.
