Police impose curfew in St James ZOSO
ST JAMES, Jamaica – The police have imposed a 48-hour curfew in the Zones of Special Operations (ZOSO) at Norwood in St James. The curfew began at 7:00 pm, on Friday, November 4, and will continue until 6:00 am, on Monday, November 7.
The police said residents will be allowed to attend church services, work and conduct other chores, but are reminded to walk with a form of photo identification. Additionally, no parties, wakes or other public gatherings except for church services will be entertained during this period.
“The Joint Forces wish to acknowledge the public for their continued support and cooperation as we work assiduously to keep you safe,” the police said in a statement on Saturday (November 5).
