Police seek man who lost finger during robbery

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Police are searching for a man who reportedly lost his finger while robbing a business establishment on Colleyville Avenue, Kingston 20 on November 20, 2022.

The wanted man has been identified as Hebert Wallace otherwise called ‘Rickie’ of a Riverton City Address in Kingston 11.

Police report that Wallace was allegedly in the process of robbing the establishment when he accidentally shot his finger off. He reportedly fled the scene after taking a sum of money from the proprietor but left his severed finger behind.

Police from the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch reportedly submitted the finger to a forensic lab where it was revealed that it was Wallace's.
