MANCHESTER, Jamaica — For the second time in less than two weeks, residents have downed trees and used debris to block the Silent Hill to Top Alston main road near the northeastern Manchester/ northwestern Clarendon border on Thursday.
Last week, OBSERVER ONLINE reported that the residents were demanding that their roads be repaired and that an issue with the water supply be addressed.

Just as it was last week Monday, scores of commuters, including students, have been left stranded due to the roadblock on Thursday morning.
A police source told OBSERVER ONLINE that a meeting scheduled for Wednesday evening between political representatives and residents in Moravia was postponed.
The reason for the postponement is unclear at this time.
