UPDATE: Final two Ocho Rios Primary students to leave hospital today
ST ANN, Jamaica – The two students of the Ocho Rios Primary School who remained at the St Ann’s Bay Hospital after consuming drug-infused sweets on Monday are expected to be released on Thursday.
Principal of the institution Suzette Barnes-Wilson gave the update on Thursday morning.
The students are among 65 who had to be rushed to hospital after purchasing the sweets from a vendor who the school principal has repeatedly stated is unknown to the school.

Speaking with Observer Online, Barnes-Wilson said most of the students have returned to school.
Two students were released on Wednesday and the last two that are expected to be discharged Thursday had been under observation and receiving rehydration treatment.
She said the others have been recuperating well.
“Those that have returned to school would have expressed that they are feeling much better because we allowed them to stay back for a day and get some sleep or stuff like that,” the principal noted.
She said school operations have gone smoothly in the days after the troubling incident.
“Our bus drivers, our taxi men and all parties and agencies are working with us… pretty well,” she said.
The incident became a police matter with Devon Holness of Mansfield Heights in Ocho Rios named as a person of interest in the case.
Police believe he can assist in their investigation.
