Veteran broadcaster Barbara Gloudon has died
Veteran broadcaster and theatre legend Barbara Gloudon has died.
Gloudon died in hospital on Wednesday night.
She was a former Jamaica Observer columnist.
Gloudon’s husband Ancile, a former actor, food technologist, orchid enthusiast, died on April 30. He was 89.

Gloudon hosted a radio talk show for 30 years and was chair of the Little Theatre Movement. Having received numerous awards and honours, Gloudon was bestowed with the Order of Jamaica in 1992 and, in 2012, became a fellow of the Institute of Jamaica.
