Senior took home the overall Mr Jamaica bodybuilding title while Wheatle won the Ms Jamaica overall bikini fitness competition as the championships made a successful return after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some 80 competitors from 35 gyms participated in the event.

The championships is JABBFA’s main mechanism to contribute to promote wellness and wellbeing in Jamaica and encourage individuals to take a proactive approach to improved health outcomes.

A family-friendly event, it brings together fitness enthusiasts ranging from bodybuilders and powerlifters to mixed martial arts, wrestling and karate participants, personal trainers, group exercise instructors, competitive athletes and even the weekend warrior.
