Mayberry supports GEMS
The Mayberry Investments Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility by partnering with the Women’s Ministry Department for a back-to-school programme benefiting at-risk youth attached to the Girls of Eloquence and Moral Standards (GEMS).
Launched some five years ago by the Tent City Seventh-day Adventist Church in Portmore, St Catherine, GEMS seeks to inspire young girls and boys to attain a higher level of spiritual, emotional and moral standard and to be the best they can be in their Christian walk.
It also aims to bridge the gap in moral development caused by societal challenges.
By providing tailored sessions and programmes, the Mayberry Investments Foundation aspires to empower these young individuals and create positive change.
The foundation’s passion extends to engaging stakeholders like children, parents, and social groups, ensuring a collective effort towards nurturing a brighter future for the GEMS.
