Le Champ Cosmetics principal Shanique Ellington knows all too well that brunch, when done right, can be an absolutely lovely occasion. The multifaceted boss, who holds degrees in medical science and business management and runs a cosmetics business, has entered the local party scene with Jamaica's newest all-inclusive luxe event: Le Champ Brunch.

The promise, Sunday last, of a multidimensional experience — cocktails, brunch, then party — was enough to lure the style set to Sunken Gardens, Hope Gardens, for an afternoon of feting and fabulosity.

A few teething pains did little to daunt Ellington's resolve, who swanned into the all-white affair wearing custom Kadian Nicely to officially get the party started. It was non-stop vibes thereafter as cocktails and brunch bites flowed freely, and deejays kept the crowd amped up way beyond sunset.
