Flow boosts Longville Park with tech donations and free internet

Flow recently demonstrated corporate social responsibility in action by donating free high-speed internet and smart devices to the Longville Park Community Centre in Clarendon.

The communications and entertainment provider was in the community to roll out its new digital home offerings including Hub TV, Smart Wi-Fi, and its lightning fast 1 Gbps speed internet. Always seizing an opportunity to impact communities wherever it operates, Flow gifted the community centre 10 Samsung tablets, free broadband service, and spruced up the computer lab and surrounding environs.

Flow’s Public Relations Manager, LeVaughn Flynn, noted that Flow is committed to technology-driven development that empowers people to achieve more.

“These devices will enhance the learning experiences of the residents. They are not just tools to access the internet; they represent a bridge to a world of information and opportunities, vital for everyone’s development in this digital age,” said Flynn.

He added that Flow’s gig speed internet now available in Clarendon, and provided to the community centre, will also facilitate better access to digital resources for residents, fostering an environment of connectivity and technological advancement.

“The internet is a gateway to endless possibilities, and by providing this service, Flow is ensuring that the residents of Longville Park are not left behind in the rapidly evolving digital landscape,” added Flynn.

Repairs Manager Dinsdale Edwards shows a resident all the exciting features of Hub TV.

Along with revitalising the community centre, the engagement at Longville Park featured tech and sales support, a fun zone, and was an excellent opportunity for Flow to engage directly with its customers. By listening to their stories, understanding their needs, and responding with tangible solutions, Flow demonstrated a deep commitment to customer care, connectivity, and innovation. Acting President of the Longville Park Citizens Association, Alphanso Lewis, said the community was thankful for the kind collaboration with Flow.

“This kind gesture will go a long way in revitalizing our community centre and helping us to empower our residents, especially the young people, through technology,” said Mr Lewis.

Flow’s partnership with Longville Park was more than just a day of fun and festivities; it was a clear reflection of the company’s dedication to community development, technological empowerment, and customer engagement. Through initiatives like these, Flow continues to play a pivotal role in transforming communities and changing lives.
