Cornwall College win back-to-back matches in U-15 basketball tourney

MONTEGO BAY, St James — Cornwall College won back-to-back games to start the ISSA/Western Conference Under-15 boys’ basketball competition after holding off Herbert Morrison Technical 35-31 at Cornwall College on Friday.

Cornwall were led by Matai Williams who scored a game-high 24 points and had five steals, while Janathan Daye and Dejeaun Williams had three points each as Demar Lattibauiere grabbed 12 rebounds.

Kamau Dennis scored 13 points for Herbert Morrison and had eight rebounds and Joshua Ferguson, who was part of the Under-19 winning team, scored 11 points and had six steals.
