JC, STATHS Manning Cup games affected by rain
Defending champions Jamaica College (JC) and last season’s beaten finalists St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) were unable to complete their respective ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup matches on Monday due to rainy conditions.
JC were due to play away againsts hosts Cumberland but the match was postponed following the late arrival of match officials as well as the rain and waterlogged field.
STATHS were leading hosts Tarrant 3-0 at half-time, thanks to a double strike from captain Richard Livingston. However, the match was called off before the start of the second half due to the heavy downpour.
Other games which were called off due to the rain were Cedar Grove vs Excelsior and Clan Carthy vs Bridgeport.
However, some games were possible including those that saw Wolmer’s, St Jago, Tivoli and Kingston Technical all registering wins.
Monday’s results
