St James, Holland swoop into high school basketball finals

MONTEGO BAY, St James — St James High School and Holland High School have confirmed their places in the best-of-three finals of the ISSA Western Conference boys’ basketball competition after semi-final wins last week.

St James High hammered Holland High 100-49 in the Under-19 semi-final played at the Montego Bay Cricket Club on Friday, a day after Holland High had beaten Cornwall College 45-38 in over time in their Under-16 game played at Holland High on Thursday.

Both teams will meet Herbert Morrison in the best-of-three finals set to start on Monday at Herbert Morrison Technical.
