Fresh off last Sunday’s victory over Molynes United, Waterhouse will go in search of their second-straight win in the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) when they take on Montego Bay United at Wespow Park.

Match time is 3:15 pm.

In the opening match of the double-header, Faulkland will oppose Dunbeholden at 1:00 pm.

Waterhouse, who made it to the semi-finals in last year’s competition, dispatched Molynes United 2-1 in their opening game of the season.

Devroy Gray netted both goals in the victory for the Marcel Gayle-coached Waterhouse outfit.

Meanwhile, Montego Bay United were held to a 1-1 draw by Portmore United in their opening match of the season last Sunday.

Gayle told Jamaica Observer that it is very important that the team develop a winning mentality this season and, therefore, they will be taking every match very seriously.

“We can’t take anything for granted because we are a very young team, but they will gain experience as we go and so every game is a different opponent and there will be a different strategy for this game,” said Watson.

“We know that it is going to be a very tough game for us because Donovan Duckie is a very good coach and he is a very smart coach. But our charges are motivated and they are ready to go down there and do the job,” he said.

Gayle stated that last Sunday’s victory over Molynes United has given his team a lot of confidence, which they hope to carry over into today’s game against Montego Bay.

“That game is behind us now and so we are just looking forward to the future and we are just focusing on this Montego Bay team,” he said.

“It is always important that you perform at your best and keep this momentum going because we want to make sure that we keep winning games this season,” Gayle said.

Along with Gray, Waterhouse will be depending heavily on the likes of Ramone Howell, Damion Binns, Jahvon James, and Duvaughn Dunkley to lead their charge to victory.

On the other hand, Duckie said last week’s draw against Portmore United has given his players a lot of self-belief and he is expecting a good performance from his team.

“Coming off a 1-1 draw against Portmore United will give us some confidence going into this our second fixture, and we are going to be playing at home and so we take some comfort in that,” said Duckie.

“However, it doesn’t get any easier because we are going to be playing a very experienced Waterhouse team that have been playing in the CFU [Caribbean Football Union] competition over the last three years and so we know that it is not going to be an easy match,” he added.

Montego Bay will be banking on the experience of veteran players Allan Ottey, Kevin Graham, Tevin Shaw, and Ewan Burton to spur them on.

In other games, Cavalier will play away to Vere United at the Wembley Centre of Excellence at 3:00 pm and in a double-header at the Stadium East field Molynes United battle Humble Lion at 3:00 pm. and Tivoli Gardens challenge Chapleton Maroons at 5:30 pm.
