On Thursday, just as the last bit of daylight faded under a rain-soaked New Kingston sky, Locale opened its doors on 4 Holborn Road to the Rock's fabulocracy for early access to collections from NYFW.
For this year's shopping playground MoDA's leading ladies, Kerry-Ann Clarke and Aiesha Panton, tapped international designers Korto Momolu, Kimon Baptiste-St Rose, Cesar Galindo and Carlton Jones to showcase their latest looks alongside a finely curated list of local designers and artisans. The designers also mingled with guests as they will do November 17-19 at MoDA Market.
Caribbean Producers Jamaica partnered again with the stylish boutique to introduce both its new line of Fantinel Tenuta Sant'Helena wines and the winery's dapper CEO Marco Fantinel.
The evening also featured an intimate acoustic set from sultry crooner Sarah Couch. Further sonic serenades came via DJ Renée "Iren Siren" Mahrun, who will also be spinning on the ones and twos at the venue throughout MoDA Market.
