British-Jamaican actress and model Jodie Turner-Smith is breathtaking in the second act of The Awakening film series created with Vogue to celebrate Gucci Bloom, a floral fragrance for women by Gucci Beauty. Turner-Smith — a Gucci brand ambassador — reflects on her increased connectivity with both body and mind since motherhood. With styling courtesy of fashion editor Francesca Cefis Casoli, Turner-Smith delivers in series of Gucci ‘fits for the Yumna Al-Arashi directed film.

American actress, singer, dancer and model Kat Graham, who is best known for her role as Bonnie Bennett on The CW supernatural drama series The Vampire Diaries, wore Greta Constantine Spring 2020 at the June 4 staging of iHeartRadio Wango Tango in Los Angeles, California.

iHeartRadio Wango Tango is an annual day-long concert produced by local Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM and hosted by American media personality Ryan Seacrest.

Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross, who is now a cast member of the hit reality TV series, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, was spotted in Tulum, Mexico, for a friend’s birthday trip.

Richards-Ross turned heads in a printed monokini from luxury swimwear brand Keva J Swimwear, helmed by Jamaican-blooded swimwear designer Keva Johnson. Other devotees of the label include American singer Ciara, the Kardashians and Nicole Mitchell Murphy.

Jamaican model Reece Nelson turns up the heat in the June 2022 issue of ICON Spain. To discover the most colourful and relaxed fashion of the season, the mag went to an urban and ecological garden on the outskirts of Madrid in search of refreshing tones and patterns. The curation of looks involve botanical-inspired motifs, reinvented technical designs and youthful classics for all audiences.

Nelson dons a selection of pieces from luxury fashion brands Maison Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Hermès and JW Anderson for the shoot.

Governor General Sir Patrick Allen and Lady Allen participated in Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations held recently in London, England, on behalf of Jamaica. While in London, they attended the Jubilee Service in St Paul’s Cathedral and The Platinum Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace.

The hard-working duo who arrived in the United Kingdom mere hours before participating in the slate of activities also found time to attend services led by Richard Daley, pastor of the Brixton Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Dr Elaine Grant-Bryan, a Jamaican-born, multi-award-winning educator living in Atlanta, Georgia, has scored yet another prestigious award. This time it’s the President’s Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of Grant-Bryan’s 4,000 hours of service to the United States. The commendation is, per the citation, “The highest honour from United States President Joe Biden for both the Gold and the Lifetime Achievement Award 2022…

Dr Grant-Bryan — Jamaica’s Honorary Consul in Atlanta, Georgia — is a former educator in the Atlanta school system and is now a real estate entrepreneur.

Fresh from her appearance on the Balenciaga Resort ‘23 runway, Martinican Saint International model Aurelie Giraud is back at it with e-commerce campaigns for Hugo Boss Womenswear and New York and now Paris-based boutique brand The Frankie Shop.
