As one of 12 women linked to married golf star Tiger Woods, Joslyn James could rightly be expected to feel ashamed of her actions.

But as she watched his televised apology today the porn star seemed more upset than the golfer himself, sobbing hysterically as her lawyer tried to comfort her.

The scenes were as dramatic as James’s new look. Her short cropped hair and buttoned blouse was a world away from her appearance as a seductress in My First Sex Teacher 12.

James, real name Veronica Siwik-Daniels, claims she was twice made pregnant by Woods, suffering a miscarriage in 2007 and an abortion two years later.

Perhaps her tears were due to Woods’s failure to mention her in his address.

Speaking publicly today for the first time since allegations of his string of affairs emerged, Woods admitted he had bitterly disappointed his family, friends and fans.

‘For all I have done, I am so sorry. I have a lot to atone for,’ he said.

But he made no mention of the women he is alleged to have bedded, other than to talk of his shame at his actions.

James’s lawyer Gloria Allred said her 32-year-old client suffered ‘anguish and distress’ following her three year affair with Woods.

She said James believed their relationship ‘would last a lifetime’ and went into hiding to avoid being quizzed about their affair.

‘Veronica has made tremendous sacrifices for him,’ said Allred.

‘She gave up the porn business at his request and went into hiding when the scandal broke in order to protect him, but to date he has not contacted her to apologise.’

It was a night of triumph and tears for Kate Moss as she attended the Fashion For Relief Haiti charity show at London’s Somerset House on Thursday.

Kate, who is still reeling from the tragic death of the 40-year-old fashion designer, managed a brave face as she proudly strutted down the runway in the print mini-dress from his Spring/Summer 2010 range.

But her emotions proved too much as she later watched the design go under the hammer to raise money for disaster-struck Haiti.

As Topshop boss Sir Philip Green put in the final bid of £100,000, she broke down in tears and had to be comforted by fellow model and fellow McQueen muse, Annabelle Neilson.

GaGa rocks UK tour

After her pared down set at the Brits, Lady Gaga was back on form last night for the start of her nine-date UK tour.

The 23-year-old star delighted fans with a weird an wacky show, which she described as more akin to a musical than a pop concert.

Kicking off the British leg of her Monster Ball tour at the Manchester MEN Arena, the US singer played a storming set involving 15 costume changes, a burning grand piano and a 40-foot animatronic sea monster.

‘Some of it’s very old, some of it’s new, there are scores specifically for the show itself,’ said GaGa.

GaGa added: ‘The show’s completely different and I have some really amazing surprises. It’s unlike anything I’ve done before.’

Simon Cowell welcomes fiancée to his mansion

Simon Cowell’s days living alone as a carefree bachelor seem to be at an end.

The X Factor boss showed Mezghan Hussainy – to whom he proposed on Valentine’s Day – round his Beverly Hills mansion Thursday.

Cowell, 50, and the 36-year-old make-up artist were pictured strolling into the gates of the £14m property and up to the huge, glossy, black front door.

Clutching his phone, Cowell acknowledged the waiting paparazzi, as Mezghan opened the door, possibly trying out her key for the first time.
