Portie: No Problem
Say Seaview Villa even to Portie habitués and that might very well elicit blank stares. Mention the same words to a Belgian, especially one from Antwerp, and do not be surprised if the names Fay and Ulrich Daems are immediately called.
Fact is these ever-so-affable folks, former restaurateurs of Belgium’s first Jamaican restaurant aptly called ‘No Problem’, built this home away from home some three years ago and have been entertaining friends ever since.
The acre property located in Anchovy, not far from Trident, is entirely in black and white simply because, according to Fay, “we love black and white”. There’s that, too, as well as their passion for exquisite local fare and comfy chic living and entertainment spaces.
