‘I never intended to be racy’: Kim Kardashian’s 14-year-old sister Kendall defends bikini photo shoot

People Post

At just 14 years old, her beach bikini shoot has got some critics a bit hot under the collar, but Kendall Jenner, younger half-sister of Kim Kardashian, has defended the stunning pictures, which show her posing in a black bikini and a sheer long-sleeved cover-up.

‘Going into this shoot, it was never my intention to be provocative or too racy,’ the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star told People.com. ‘It was a beach shoot, and I was wearing beachwear. I am happy with my age, and am not trying to rush into anything too soon. I look forward to all the milestones my teens have to offer- sweet 16, turning 18, and so on.’ However, Kendall does admit that her decision to become a model gave her dad Bruce some cause for concern. ‘My entire family was very supportive, though my dad was a bit concerned at first,’ she said. ‘He knows that I am responsible enough that I wouldn’t do anything I wasn’t ready to do, or didn’t want to do. I am excited to be working as a model, doing what I love to do.’

Kendall fronted a fashion campaign for Forever 21 last year and is signed on to famed modelling agency Wilhelmina. The shoot clearly impressed Kendall’s half-sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian. “They turned out sooo gorgeous! She’s going to take over the modelling world… you just watch,” Kim wrote on her personal blog. “I think she’s the next Cindy Crawford. Absolutely stunning! No wonder she’s a Wilhelmina model!” added Khloe on her website.

The fifth season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians will air in the US on Sunday August 22.

The pictures were taken two weeks ago by photographer Nick Saglimbeni.

Paris Hilton halts holiday partying to shoot her new music video in Ibiza

She’s spent the past few weeks being the lady of luxurious leisure as she parties her way round Europe, but on Wednesday, Paris actually buckled down and did some work as she filmed her music video in Ibiza.

It wasn’t exactly a day’s hard work for the pampered heiress, however, as she got to dance around in the sun wearing a bright pink swimsuit all day. Paris, 29, was shooting a video for her new single on her upcoming second album, which is yet to be named. She showed off her slender figure in the cutaway swimsuit, which she teamed with matching heels and blue-rimmed sunglasses.

By all accounts, Paris had a great time shooting the video, in which she is surrounded by scantily clad female dancers. She took to her Twitter page to tell her followers just how much fun she was having making the video. She wrote: ‘On set of the music video shoot. What an incredible house we’re shooting at and the weather is just beautiful! I Love Ibiza!’

Later she added: ‘The music video shoot went amazing today! So many incredible dancers and the clothes were so hot! Had so much fun! Can’t wait to see it! :).’ The socialite released her first record in 2006, the self-titled ‘Paris’, and she hopes the follow-up will be out by the end of the summer.

Harry Potter and the goblet of vodka: Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe celebrates his 21st birthday in St Petersburg

For ten years Harry Potter has dominated his work and his social life – even more so because of a “good behaviour” clause in his film contract. Now that filming on the final instalment of the hit franchise is over, it seems Daniel Radcliffe is making the most of his newfound freedom.

The actor, who is worth £42million, celebrated his 21st birthday in style on holiday with two friends in St Petersburg. He appeared keen to sample the local Russian liquor, at one point grabbing a bottle of vodka to help ensure the barman poured a suitably sizeable measure.

Speaking after his holiday in Russia earlier this week, he added: ‘It was fantastic. I was in St Petersburg for my birthday, which is probably the most beautiful, the most incredible, wonderful place I’ve ever been in my life.’

Radcliffe begins filming his next major role in October – as a lawyer in a Hammer Films adaptation of ghostly novel Woman In Black.
