THE Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) in their continued mission to engender feelings of national pride in every Jamaican will on Independence Day (Friday, August 6), roll out the premier cultural event for Kingston in the form of the Jamaica Independence Grand Gala.

Under the theme Positive Vibrations, the Grand Gala which begins at 5pm, unfolds at the National Stadium after the sights, sounds and scintillating pageantry of the street parade will which rolls out of the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre at midday.

Tickets are now available at Tastee locations in Cross Road, Papine, Patrick City, Stony Hill, Portmore Town Centre and in Spanish Town.

Those nearer to the Registrar General’s Department in both Kingston and St Catherine can pick up their tickets there as well as at the Inland Revenue Department locations.

The JCDC parish offices are also a source for tickets and are a passport to true fun

and a cultural adventure Jamaican style.
