Rod Stewart to be a father again at the age of 66

People Post

Aging rocker Rod Stewart is to become a dad again at the age of 66, he revealed yesterday.

The star already has seven children, but his wife Penny has been open about her desire to give their four-year-old son Alastair a sibling.

The couple, who celebrated their three-year anniversary in June, spoke of their battle to conceive, but said today: “We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be the big brother to a little baby, expected just before Mummy’s 40th birthday.”

The baby is due just weeks after Rod celebrates his 66th birthday, while Penny turns 40 on March 15.

The pair have been together for ten years and recently revealed that they are still “like love struck teenagers”.

They had been celebrating their third wedding anniversary at the romantic, exclusive resort of Portofino, Italy, close to where they married in 2007, when they found out they were expecting the baby they have been longing for.

Lady GaGa puckers up in tiny bikini as she rekindles Bad Romance with ex-boyfriend.

She was last seen wearing a see-through top with only a couple of stars to spare her blushes at the weekend, so it’s no surprise Lady GaGa looks so relaxed in a bikini.

The star was spotted frolicking with friends around a hotel pool wearing a tiny leopard print two-piece with her myriad tattoos on show.

Despite recently claiming to be celibate, GaGa was seen passionately kissing on-off boyfriend Luc Carl as they took a dip together. The 24-year-old singer dated the long-haired, 32-year-old, 6ft-3in barman before she rocketed to fame.

A wannabe rockstar himself, Luc is the only man who understands her, according to GaGa — real name Stefani Germanotta. The couple first dated five years ago, but split over her then drug habit.

GaGa’s debut album The Fame is said to be hugely inspired by Luc, with the track You And I and Bad Romance detailing their rocky, on-off relationship.

Meanwhile, GaGa was announced as one of the winners of the Teen Choice Awards Sunday night in Los Angeles. She won Best Female Artist and the Summer Choice Music Star gong at the ceremony, but wasn’t there in person to pick up her awards.

Jennifer Lopez becomes a big kid as she larks about on a swing with her children

Any parent knows that having children gives you licence to act like a big kid once in a while.

Which is exactly what Jennifer Lopez did this weekend as she played about on a set of swings. The singer and actress had taken two-year-old twins Emme and Max to a play park in Los Angeles on the beach and couldn’t resist having a swing herself. She looked like she was having a whale of a time as she leaned backwards and swung upside down.

The 41-year-old also twisted herself round and went for a spin as husband Marc Anthony, also 41, kept a watchful eye on the twins.

But he too couldn’t resist having a go himself, and was soon playing around on the swings too.

They both then let Emme and Max have a go, with Jennifer standing by as they took it in turns to have a go and be pushed on the swing.

Jennifer will surely be making the most of the quality family time as she waits to see if she will be a new judge on the American Idol panel.

Speaking to USA Today, executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, who has rejoined the show after Simon Cowell left at the end of last season, said he was considering Jennifer as a possible judge.
