Leonardo DiCaprio granted restraining order

against ‘delusional’ stalker who claims she’s his wife

Leonardo DiCaprio can breathe a deep sigh of relief as a A Los Angeles court granted a restraining order on Friday against Livia Bistriceanu, a woman that Dicaprio claims has been stalking him.

According to documents filed at the LA Superior Court Bistriceanu claims she is married to the 35-year-old actor and is carrying his child, Jesus. DiCaprio says that Bistriceanu has repeatedly attempted to contact him through emails and has even tried to visit him at his home. In his declaration, the Inception star states: “I am frightened of Ms Bistriceanu and feel that my personal safety, and the personal safety of those around me, is in jeopardy.” Going on to claim that Bistriceanu knows where he lives and has shown “a willingness to make physical contact with me regardless of the consequences.” A series of creepy hand written notes that Bistriceanu allegedly sent to DiCaprio are included with the documents. In one, she writes: “You wrote to me 2 years ago that you love me and you don’t love other women (sic). You said I talk to you soon and it past 2 years already and still you don’t want to talk to me. Why?” In another “Do you want to be with me for real and to be the father of Jesus? I’ve explained you I can’t be with nobody virtually. I have to have a father in reality for Jesus not like this.” Bistriceanu has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from DiCaprio.

Katy Perry has her head in the clouds as she performs in New York

She took to the stage earlier this month on top of a giant banana split, and Katy Perry continued her string of larger-than-life performances on the Today Show in New York. Taking inspiration from the cover of her new album Teenage Dream, the singer appeared on a giant pink cloud to belt out her latest hits from the album, which launched on Thursday. Russell Brand’s bride-to-be showed off her pre-wedding figure in a tiny flesh-coloured leotard embellished with pink and red stones and pink heels. Her hair, still showing the multi-coloured highlights she debuted last week, had extensions added and piled into a high ponytail. She finished the look with bright red lips. Katy’s fans camped out overnight for a glimpse of the star, and she showed her appreciation by ensuring they were nice and comfortable during their sleep-out. The 25-year-old tweeted; “I had special #TeenageDream pillow & blankys made just for those of u that r camping out for the Today Show! Yay!” The California Gurls singer has been on a major promotional push for her much-anticipated second album, which features her familiar style of upbeat, catchy pop songs with suggestive lyrics. Entertainment Weekly’s Leah Greenblatt spoke to MTV about artistes’ notorious struggle to repeat the success of their debut album, and grouped Katy with Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.

Spanish singer Julio Iglesias marries in secret

Spanish singer Julio Iglesias has married 45-year-old Dutch model Miranda Rijnsburger, his partner for the past 20 years. The 66-year-old singer announced the marriage in a statement to Spanish newspapers. The wedding took place at the Virgen del Carmen church in the southern jet-set resort of Marbella. Reverend Roberto Rojo Aguado, one of three priests who officiated the ceremony, told The Associated Press on Friday that the couple were married on Tuesday. He said the ceremony was attended by two witnesses and the couple’s five children. Iglesias was previously married to Isabel Preysler, with whom he had three children.
