Lady GaGa starves herself to fit into her costumes, new book claims

People Post

A new book is claiming that Lady GaGa was hospitalised six times in 2009 due to her yo-yo dieting which caused her to get dangerously ill.

The singer’s former tour manager David Ciemny says the controversial star goes to dangerous lengths to fit into her infamous costumes.

In his new book Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of Lady GaGa, Ciemny says the performer found it hard coping with her newfound celebrity.

‘When I say she was sick, I mean physically and mentally.’

David writes in his book that GaGa would go on junk food binges while on tour and would gorge on sweets and unhealthy food.

He claimed she’d then not eat for weeks so she could slim to fit into her costumes. He recalls she once lost 20 pounds in between fittings. Talent scout Wendy Starland added, ‘The pressure on her to lose weight was very high.’

The issue had allegedly been the subject of concern when she shot her music video for Paparazzi.

A witness from the shoot said: ‘Producers had to shoot around her. They draped fabric over her thighs and shot her backside with a softer lens.’

David’s wife Angela also weighs in on what she described as bizarre behaviour by GaGa. She claims that the 24-year-old would cuddle up next to her in bed before her performances and then beg for her to come back when she left.

‘I would say, ‘GaGa, I have a husband to go home to. I’ll be in the room next door.

‘She’d call and text me, ‘I miss you Ange, can you come back?’

Angela said she would return to GaGa’s room and they soon ended up spending lots of time together.

‘We literally would do our make-up together every morning and get ready for bed together at night.’

The Bad Romance singer has admitted in the past to being insecure.

‘When I wake up in the morning I feel just like any other insecure girl. Then I say, B***h, you’re Lady GaGa, you get up and walk the walk today.’

Khloe Kardashian strikes back at ‘haters’

Khloe Kardashian might never win any awards for her reality shows. But if she does, she already has the ‘haters’ portion of the acceptance speech written.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s star struck back at her critics with a scathing entry on her personal blog titled ‘Hi Hater!’

In the blog posting Khloe, 26, bizarrely thanks the ‘haters’ for building her business.

The wife to basketball star Lamar Odom has been a constant subject of harsh Internet criticism through the years.

Yet she seemingly has the Midas touch as everything she touches — from her trendy clothing shops, Dash, to her highly-rated reality shows — rake in the money.

She writes: ‘You, ‘my hater,’ are giving me more sales… I also wanted to thank you for giving me hits on my website.’

‘So thank you to my haters! You truly are making me better… God bless.’

The entry is crudely illustrated with all the famous sisters raising their middle fingers to the camera.

Kanye West writes song, tweets 70 times for Taylor Swift…

It’s been a year since Kanye West infamously interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech during the MTV Video Music Awards.

And in an attempt to move on from the sorry debacle, the rapper has written a song for the country sensation.

‘I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that’s so beautiful and I want her to have it,’ he Tweeted. ‘If she won’t take it then I’ll perform it for her.’

There’s no word from Taylor as to whether she’ll accept the peace offering but it’s clear that as this year’s awards approach on Sept 12, West wants Taylor and the world to know that he is really, really sorry.
